True and False (active)  - Finances and Fund Raising

     The players are divided into 2 equal teams standing on either side of a centre line.
One of these is the "True" team and the other is the "False" team. Each team has a goal on either side of the centre line.  When the leader gives a true statement, such as
"Grass is Green", the true players run for their goal, chased by the false team.  If tagged, the members of the true team become members of the false team and run for their goal.  The team that has the most players at the end of the playing time is the winner.

1. I can keep Guide money in a separate personal account because it will be easier for me.

2. Cheques must be signed by two signing officers

3. Signing officers for Units must be authorized annually and noted in the minutes.
 T

4. Signing officers for Parent's Committees and Local Associations do not need to be authorized annually.

5. It is okay for me to sign a few blank cheques if I'm going to be away
 F

6. Accounting Records may be prepared manually or by computer.

7. Accounting records must be retained for 5 years
 F

8. I can keep a small amount of Petty Cash on hand from the girls weekly dues
 F

9. I can claim 50% of the qualifying GST by filing a GST Rebate Claim Form

10. I have to have an original receipt which identifies the amount of GST paid
