Adult members of Girl Guides of Canada, Guides du Canada are called Guiders. Women of all ages choose to be in Guiding for many reasons but most enjoy the work with the girls in the units. There are many opportunities for you to join us in this movement that spreads over 136 Countries and has over 8 million members. It is the largest organization for girls and women in the world. You can use your skills and talents to help a girl to grow in knowledge and ability in a warm and caring atmosphere, challenging her to make the most of her potential and move towards being a leader of the future. Guiding gives YOU lots of
opportunities to enhance your knowledge at several trainings offered each
year. These not only help you to lead your unit more effectively but can
offer skills that you can use in your day to day life as well. You also
experience the joy on the girl's faces as they discover new things each
time you meet.
