Guiders
throughout Canada know that WAGGGS is the World Association
of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, but what does it do, and why
is it, and our membership in it, so important?
WAGGGS is the largest voluntary organization for women and girls
in the world, with approximately nine million active members
in 145 countries around the world. It is part of a network of
international non-governmental organizations, all of which share
similar aims and objectives.
